Keep cool with White Mountain Electric Ice Cream Freezer

As recent retirees, my wife and I live and travel extensively in our RV (recreation vehicle). One of the limitations we have to our life-style, is adequate freezer space, so one item that we rarely have available is ice-cream. Our solution was to purchase an electric Ice Cream Maker/Freezer. Ice is always available at the RV parks we stay in, so we often make our own ice cream for family and friend get-togethers. It has developed into a regular event, and everyone now seems to expect that we will have our home made treat available whenever they visit.

We purchased the White Mountain Electric Ice Cream Freezer a couple of years ago, after reviewing all other models on the market. We have been totally satisfied with it ever since. Features that we appreciate are:

• Bucket made of solid New England pine and stainless straps for enduring strength

• Beech wood blades self-adjust to ensure uniform scraping of ice cream mixture on the canisters interior sidewall

Recently, a group my son was in had to make over 200 gallons of homemade ice cream. The group would go to local festivals and sell the ice cream to raise money. Anyway, we had about 14 six quart freezers, 4 of them being the White Mountain models. The White Mountain freezers not only froze almost 2x faster than the other models but the ice cream was much more firm. Also, after making all of the ice cream, many of the other models were literally "burnt out" but the White Mountain machines seemed to go on and on showing no signs of wear. These freezers have probably made over 30 gallons of ice cream and still are as good as new. I would highly recommend a White Mountain machine.
